Social Pedagogue at Agnesfrids Gymnasium

Agnesfrids Gymnasium is seeking a social pedagogue for a project employment within the Upper Secondary and Adult Education Administration. The position is part of a targeted initiative for drug prevention and preventive work to prevent harassment. The assignment extends throughout 2026.

Job Responsibilities

As a social pedagogue, you will support and motivate students, both at group and individual levels. In collaboration with teachers and other staff at the school, the social pedagogue shapes and develops the school's learning environment to create a safe and stimulating operation that contributes to students' learning and development. You will work with the school's core values and actively participate in the school's development work. Furthermore, you contribute to a holistic view where society, group, and individual collaborate.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A relevant post-secondary education for the position comprising at least two years of full-time studies (120 credits or a two-year vocational education)
• Previous experience in similar work
• Good insight into the school's goals and quality work
• Good digital competence
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a social pedagogue, you handle complex issues and find solutions that promote safety, participation, and well-being for students. You have a good understanding of people's different circumstances and adapt your approach according to individual needs. Furthermore, you are flexible, see opportunities in changes, and use new information to develop support measures. Through a relationship-building and inclusive working method, you build trust and collaborate with students, colleagues, and other professionals. You value diversity and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others.

Agnesfrids Gymnasium is a small school with a strong sense of community. It offers both upper secondary and adult education in vocational and introductory programs for students interested in electricity, technology, vehicles, and transport. Teaching takes place in professional facilities where service, repairs, maintenance, and installations are taught.
